Our meeting room has just stepped up to the next level. We have always had the big boardroom table and chairs. We even had the conferencing telephone system before it became popular in meeting rooms. Now the room where management meets is state-of-the-art due to the audio visual installation company that transformed the place for us. The room still looks the same when you walk in, but it changes with the press of a button on a remote to an audio-visual presentation room.
When we need to see any video presentation, whether it be from a client or CEO, we press the button on the remote to set the room. Read the rest of this entry »

You know the stories of how fishermen exaggerate the size of the fish they catch. Well, when you are sponsoring a tournament in fishing, you need to have undeniable proof to prove the winners. We use a top notch scale we found when we were looking at the best fishing tournament scales for 2016. We needed precision accuracy. The purse for the contests ran into some big money and prizes. We definitely wanted precision to avoid any disagreements. We even had the scales we bought certified by the county we were holding the contest in.
If it was just a bunch of people fishing for bragging rights, it would not have been a big deal what kind of scale we used. However, some of the prizes were worth more than a lot of people make in a year. Sponsors were offering expensive tackle and even bass boats, motors and trailers. Read the rest of this entry »

You hear people on TV telling you how you can save money on this and save money on that. However, how many of us actually pay attention and take the steps needed to save money? We see that we can save a little here and there, but it seems like it is not worth the trouble to do the steps necessary because of the amounts. Well, I took the time to learn more about saving on my electrical utility supplier first. It was easy to make the switch. The second thing I did was really take a look at saving on our insurances. Combined, the savings are quite significant. We were able to swing a bigger car payment without struggling because of it. We got the car we wanted instead of the one we would have to settle for.
You really should look into saving on every utility bill and all of your insurances. Read the rest of this entry »

I have always been super interested in home automation, even before it was a thing. If I had been bore maybe 5 years earlier, perhaps I could have been first to the market with home automation systems, but I was still growing up when I first had my ideas about making efficient homes through the use of automation. I want to find more info about home automation in Pompano Beach as I think it is time to realize a dream of mine and to make my house more efficient by adding some automation systems to it. I am not sure exactly how much this type of project tends to cost for a home owner, but regardless of the cost, I am pretty sure that I want to do it.
Of course, I don;t know if it is really worth it if the costs are too excessive. Read the rest of this entry »

When we first moved here we had cable TV and Internet. It got crazy expensive, so we dropped the cable TV and got satellite. They offered us a huge discount for the first year with the price going up the second year. Overall we had a savings over the cable. I never liked not having control over channel lineup changes or being able to control what a company charges me for TV. Sure, it is their business, but I’m the customer. Aren’t customers always supposed to be right? I found AT&T in California had U-Verse available. You can bundle your Internet, home phone service and digital TV programming. It is cool because your TV programming actually is fed over the phone line connected to your house. It is not some goofy service either. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m going to seriously nerd out here today and admit to a hobby of mine; racing RC cars. It’s not what you would exactly call a popular hobby. There’s no much of a community in most areas of the nation but somehow we’ve managed to establish something of our own here. It started from our local HackerSpace promoting a challenge online for interested individuals to build their own RC car for a one mile race around a local gym’s track. They had even bought race car scales to weigh each of the cars as the challenge had set out to build something under 2 pounds. Read the rest of this entry »

I moved here from another country and found freedoms in every area of life that I never experienced where I came from. I was commenting to family who were visiting about the vast amount of variety in stores, and how you can even choose what brand of fuel you put in your car. I even told them how we can choose who provides us the electricity to our home. I had several electricity companies in hutto, tx that I could choose from. They were located both close and far away. I could choose to get electricity from fossil fuel fired electric generation plants, or I could choose a green energy supplier.
My family could hardly believe the amount of freedom I now enjoy in my daily life. Sure, I know that my neighbors here in the suburbs are mostly used to this level of variety. I am not. It was a bit overwhelming when I first moved here. Read the rest of this entry »

I am going through the process of trying to move into this new house, that I recently bought. I am hoping that it will not take too much longer in order to get my family moved in, but there are things that need to be taken care of, before the house will be fit to live in. The electricity has not been turned on yet, and that is a bit of a problem. I am looking into electricity companies in mission, tx right now, and the prices that they offer for their electricity.
It is pretty important to me that I am able to find the cheapest price for electricity that is out there. I know that it won’t be satisfied unless I find the cheapest price that is out there. That is just a personality trait of mine. I need to figure this out soon though, as I do want to have my family moved in within the next 4 to 5 days. I am not sure that I will actually manage to get my family moved in on that schedule, but I am going to try to pull it off.
Right now, my family is living in a hotel, and it is kind of an expensive arrangement. The longer it takes to get my family moved in, the more I am going to have to pay for this hotel. I am dreading that thought, but I guess it is just the way things are. I should have bought this house a couple weeks earlier, and that way, I would still have an apartment available, until the day that the house was ready to move into. That would have been a lot better than the way things turned out. I guess it is a lesson to remember for the future though.

I have started to play this new game on my phone and it is very addicting. I currently spend all of my time at break from work playing the game, and it is hard to put the phone down sometimes. The game that I am playing is called Hay Day and it is a game about running a farm. It is really quite charming, if I do say so myself. Anyway, I am a little bit ashamed, but I want to find some sort of hay day hack to use to advance through the game at a faster rate than I currently am.
Even though I really enjoy this game, it does not seem like my farm is coming around as fast as it should be. I spend a good amount of time on it per day, but at the same time, I am a very busy person. As a result, I am not able to spend as much time on the game as I am sure that a lot of people are able to devote.

Of course in theory this is relatively simple. All of the stuff that you need to do home automation and smart house features is available off of the shelf in plug and play type options. You can can find videos on youtube on how to install all of the individual components, and videos focused on a particular type of system like fibaro for example. The reality is probably going to be a bit different from the theory however and I would guess that I might learn some hard lessons from trying to do it without getting an expert to show me how it is done. I gained a good bit of weight when I became pregnant, and I thought I would be able to lose it quickly after I gave birth to my son. I was mistaken though. I lost a couple of pounds at first, but I was so tired all of the time. I still had to work my part time job from home while I took care of my baby. Being a first time mom, I panicked a good bit over silly things. I still tried to lose weight, but I was not successful until I started taking solpria.
I had never even heard of it before, but one of the new moms I had befriended from the hospital told me that is what she used to lose all of her baby weight.

Finding a good forensic expert has become somewhat of a challenge these days, there are so many out there to choose from, but how do you know which ones are good and which ones can be trusted with your case, well the answer is that you do not really know if the person is going to be good at what they do until you try them out, do not be afraid to hire people new to the field, they are often times the ones that want it the most and are going to go out there and do an amazing job for you. I met a bunch of guys when I got to Va Tech a couple of years ago and eventually I moved into a great big house with a four other guys. One of the older guys got a job with a big company in the Silicon Valley. One day he was at school, but he was celebrating and it was obvious that he still had a buzz. They had made him one of those offers you can not refuse. He took care of us sort of as well, because he got the company could pay us a tech support outsourcing contract. It was really easy actually. of course we are not really doing that much. Most of the people who do this sort of job are not overly qualified, because they just can not afford to pay people who are extremely well qualified. We had to sign some confidentiality agreements and then they started giving us teleconference lessons in their product, which was pretty easy for us to understand.
The money is not incredible of course, becaus they know that they can get other people to do it for less, but they are sending us the clients who need help the most or the clients that they can least afford to have angry at them. It is a pretty good deal for us, because we would otherwise be trying to make money doing something like working in a restaurant or a grocery store. That sort of sucks, and the only way to find a job like that which does not suck is to look for one where there are a lot of pretty girls working with you. Of course we have been trying to figure out how to fix that part of it, because that is the only thing wrong with this job.

My husband and I were talking about what type of business venture we wanted to get into after we both lost our jobs. We worked at a drug company where we researched drugs to cure things like cancer but we were laid off after the company felt that they had too many people in research and design. We decided that we were going to get into the slurry recycling business as we both hold the environment near and dear to our hearts. While we were in college we both did an internship at the North Pole where we recorded weather data and measured the snow’s response to climate change. There, he transferred colleges to be closer to me and from that point on, we were both inseparable. I feel so lucky that I have been with him for over fifteen years and we have two great kids together.
We were lucky that we always saved every extra penny that we could because that let us have some funds to invest into a company that we decided would be in the recycling business.
